About

These are our webpages we made to share things we discover on our adventures finding out about computers and computation.

We have been helped to create the book about our adventures by Paul Curzon, Peter W. McOwan (both Professors of Computer Science) and Richard Butterworth. Richard drew all the pictures of us based on ideas and then sketches by Paul with some initial character development drawings by first an illustrator we were never told the name of, and then Alan Bay.

Daniel read an early version of the book, and checked the illustrations, giving us lots of comments that helped us improve it, as did Jane Waite. Various other children including Paige and Bobby also read an early version for us. Paige was especially enthusiastic so helped us finish it.

The book is to be published by World Scientific. Thanks to everyone there who is helping bring it to fruition, especially Rochelle, Daniele and Ruth.

Paul helped us put this website together.

It was Peter’s idea that we form a gang. Sadly, he was terribly ill and died before the book was completed. We are all really upset about that. He was an incredibly kind person, who cared about people deeply and loved inspiring people about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and their links to other subjects. Thanks to Jane McOwan for her support and encouragement to continue with the book.
